GURLIFICATION PARTNERS WITH FOSTER CARE PROGRAMS TO CELEBRATE WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH WITH PRETTY IN THE CITY. EVENT SEEKS TO INSPIRE GIRLS TO BE LADYLIKE!

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Being a lady is the one attribute to which all girls and women aspire. On Saturday, March 28, 2015, Gurlification seeks to redefine being ladylike with Pretty in the City, a fashion and music event designed to inspire, educate and empower young girls to “Always be a lady!” The Enterprise Center located at 4548 Market St. Philadelphia, PA 19104 will host Pretty in the City from 4pm to 6pm.

Pretty in the City is a celebration of Women’s History Month and will not only educate young women about great women predecessors, the event will also show young ladies it is not necessary to emulate derogatory actions as seen on reality television shows and on social media.

The hosts for Pretty in the City are Immaculata University student and Miss Pennsylvania Teen, Jasmine Daniels, and Ethical Music Entertainment/Forever Music Inc. recording artist, Bria Marie, whose singles, “IDK” and “Celebrate”, were featured on VH1’s reality show, Love & Hip Hop.

“I am so excited to be hosting Pretty In the City,” states Jasmine. “I want to show and prove to not just girls, but women that beauty is effortless and begins with loving yourself and feeling comfortable in your own skin.”

Pretty in the City will have a number of activities for attendees to look forward to:

-A fashion preview of Gurlification’s Spring Line
-Live performances
-Mini-makeovers
